What’s inside

Decisions first, then the detail behind them.

Your plan at a glance

The first page is the one for the fridge: your start night, wake time, lights-out, nap times, the routine with clock times, the exact words at lights-out, tonight’s response, the night-feed windows and the three 2 a.m. rules. Everything else in the plan is the reasoning behind that page.

Why this approach for your baby

Which of the four approaches we chose — gradual checks, staying close, gentle steps, or foundations under six months — and the reasons from your answers: age, how your baby falls asleep now, how you feel about crying, how your baby handles separation. Plus the gentler and the faster alternative, so the coach can switch in a day.

Bedtime and 2 a.m., step by step

The routine as a table with times, then exactly what happens after lights-out — the first check after two minutes, the next after four, then every six, say — and the night-waking protocol: the two-minute pause, whether a feed window is open, the early-morning rule.

The first 14 nights

A table with a row for every night: the date, lights-out, the intervals or the chair position for that night, the open feed windows, what to expect and what not to change. Nights 2 and 3 are often the hardest; the table says so and tells you what to hold.

Night feeds

Kept as they are, or reduced one feed at a time inside set windows — never with any concern about growth, and never below six months. The windows are in clock times, so a 1 a.m. cry has an answer before you are fully awake.

Days and naps

A wake time, a bedtime and nap times computed for your baby from your answers and the age band, as a daily schedule table; when nap work starts and how; what to do about short naps at this age.

Decision points

Nights 3, 5, 7 and 14: what to look at, and what to do if the numbers are moving or not — including when to switch to the gentler approach. Pause rules for illness and travel, and how to resume without starting over.

Safe sleep, and your pediatrician

A check of what you told us with the specific changes that matter, and — if your answers raise a flag — exactly what to do and how soon, with the settling steps waiting until it has been looked at.

For you

A protected four-to-five-hour block for you, worked out for your household, with a seven-night rota if there is another adult. Your rest is part of the plan, not an afterthought.

Our promises

What we will and won’t do.

  • We will never soften safe-sleep guidance to make a plan more convenient.
  • We will never suggest sleep training under six months (corrected age). It has never been tested that young.
  • We will never tell you to drop night feeds if there is any concern about growth, and never without your pediatrician being happy.
  • We will never promise your baby will “sleep through”. Every baby wakes; we work on what happens next.
  • We will never shame you for feeding to sleep, rocking, contact naps, or the choices you have made at 3am.
  • We will always send you to your pediatrician when something needs one, and tell you what to say.
Pricing

$79 for the plan. $129 with 90 days of coaching.

Questions

About the plan

What exactly is in the Personalized Sleep Plan, and what does it cost?

A written plan, usually twenty pages, built from your questionnaire. It opens with a one-page fridge sheet — your start night, bedtime, wake time, nap times, the routine with clock times, the exact words at lights-out, tonight's response and the night-feed windows — and then gives the detail behind it: why this approach for your baby, bedtime and 2 a.m. step by step, a table of the first 14 nights with the exact check intervals or chair position for each one, days and naps, decision points on nights 3, 5, 7 and 14, a safe-sleep check of your set-up, a section on your own sleep, troubleshooting and a "when to call your pediatrician" card. It is written for your baby, your home and your limits — not a template with a name pasted in. The plan on its own is $79; the Plan + Coach bundle is $129 and includes 90 days of the AI Sleep Coach.

How is the plan made? Is it written by AI?

Your answers are turned into a first draft by our AI plan writer, which works from a research library we compiled — several hundred published sources on infant sleep, safe sleep and what the evidence does and doesn't support. The plan is generated and delivered to your account automatically, usually within a few minutes, with a link sent to your inbox. If your answers raise a health or safety flag, the plan addresses it directly and tells you plainly what belongs with your pediatrician rather than with us.

Will you make me do cry-it-out?

No. The questionnaire asks how you feel about crying and what you are not willing to do, and the plan is built around those answers. Many families choose a no-crying approach. For babies under six months there is no sleep training of any kind — only foundations — because those methods have never been tested that young.

Is this medical advice?

No. Lamplight provides parenting education — routines, environment, comfort techniques and expectation-setting — and homemaking support for tired families. We are not medical providers, we do not diagnose or treat anything, and we will always send you to your pediatrician when something needs one. Your plan includes a clear list of the things that should go to a doctor rather than to us.
